How to close criminal case

Dear Experts,
How do you close a Criminal Case where the opposite party does not want to contest the case nor wants to appear in court. Its a section 307 case where it has been alleged that the accused has tried to strangle the male victim with his hands. What we need to know how the case can be closed? Kindly let us know your valuable suggestions.

The police will not withdraw the case.You wiil get acquitted due to no evidence easily.Consult your advocate

Since the case is with the state, complainant / victim can not withdraw it himself alone. No witness or witness in your favor is defense.
