Generally at the time of appointment in psu or any other govt. org they ask for 2 refree person to whom bank will verify our character and etc like from how many days do u know mr.x,does any court case against him and similar question like that but what will happen if that person gives false verification report?

Those who know you and you repose trust in them should be referred by you not any TOM & Harry .

If the referring person gives false verification report and Bank is satisfied about this, it will ignore it in general till some action is legally warranted. Bank may ask alternate acceptable reference.

A person vouching upon for you is expected to give a correct picture of you, if it is not acceptable to you, then dont refer those persons, simple. Generally this is just a formal inquiry for record purpose, the employer will not go seriously behind the sundry observations.
