Process fee

(Querist) 14 November 2013 This query is : Resolved
I'm filing a recovery suit u/O VII R1, CPC. In the process memo, it is required to fill in the "process fee." What is a process fee? Is it same as the court fee payable for the suit?

PROCESS FEE IS ONLY TO SEND SUMMONS TO DEFENDENTS, DEPENDS ON STATE COURT FEE, IT MAY BE 5 TO 20 RS ONLY

process fee and court fee are totally different. PF is nominal and is affixed on PF form to send summons/court notices to defendants. court fee is levied as per the recovery amount stated in recovery suit to be filed in court.
