For purchasing a demand draft one should have a bank account ?

I don't have account in SBI.
can I deposit cash for purchasing a dd in STATE BANK OF INDIA?

IS IT MANDATORY TO HAVING AN ACCOUNT IN SBI IF I WANT TO PURCHASE A DEMAND DRAFT FROM SBI?

Yes you can deposit cash for issuing a Bank draft.

If the amount is more than the thresh hold limit you have to submit your copy of PAN card and show the original for verification.
