Monney lended without agreement

sir,
i have given approx rs 500000/- to a person on interest.what can i do in legal terms if the person is not giving me back.we have made no agreement or no writing document.(there is a slip over which he has wrote "received rs 5/-" and put his signature.)

Only with slip of 5/- as doc, chances of winning suit is rare .

Circumstantial evidences can be generated. When , how u recd money/ withdrawal from bank, his need, and how / from where he spent 5L etc.

send a legal notice to him/her & if he/she is not ready to make the payment then file a civil suit for recovery before civil court.

if you issue legal notice he will run to a lawyer . once lawyers sees that there is no documentation he will deny your claim . you are penny wise and pound foolish . you gave Rs 5 lakhs loan but did nto bother to spend Rs 10,000 on legal fees to protect your interests . chances of recovery are bleak . contact local lawyer

king mohammed gauri tried 13 times but failed and he won on 14th time.therefore,do not loose heart and try and file recovery suit in court and ur oral evidence will help
