s.454;457 and 380 of IPC

I purchs matter ed certain article which police saying are stolen by Mr.A and same was sold to me. Now police has lodged FIR us 454;457 and 380 of IPC. Advice me. Matter is for cross of complainant what will be the next stage.

it has to be proved that articles were stolen . prosecution will examine witnesses in its favour . accused gets right to cross examine them
