Dear Sir/Madam,
my brother is elder to me and we have purchased a flat in Co-op Hsg. Soc. Ltd. in
Nerul, Navi Mumbai and the said flat is registered on our both name in the year 1995. My elder brother's name first and mine second. Due to lack of knowledge about the share certificate we did not collect the same from the society's office. Now at present we have approached them to give the same and while receiving the same only my elder brother's name is mentioned on the share certificate and my name has not been put in the said share certificate.
My query is that now what is the procedure that the Society should put/add my name in the said share certificate.
Your early reply in the above will be highly appreciated.

name of both flat owners have to be placed in share certifcate . both are joint owners of the flat

Make a written representation to the society with the copy of registered sale-deed and if no response is received, do make a complaint to the registrar and then file a writ before High Court.
