Publication of photo as fraud

dear experts need your advice,

My client-bank want to publish the name and photo of the lady who is been alleged of committing fraud.

One lady falsely stating that she is working in my client-bank and by creating forged passbook etc has collected money from the people. So one among the them have filed criminal complaint against her.

Can a bank publish the name and photo of the lady, calling upon the public to not to deal with her.

bank can do so but if they have wrongly accused her bank will face a defamation suit

Definitely, the bank can do so to alert the general public against the fraud being committed by the lady in the name of the bank, as the fradulent act of the lady can affect the reputation and goodwill of the bank.

Bank should not only publish photo and misdeeds of such lady but should also file a separate case against her for defaming and misusing the name of the bank.
