Hello Sir,
My husband lives in the US. He sent me to India and withheld my Greencard illegally and prevented me to go to the US. He filed for Divorce in India and it got dismissed.He then went for appeal to High court and while the case is pending, he has now in Jan 2013 filed for divorce in USA citing non- co habitation.
Kindly advice what should be done?
Should I file a petition here in India that his Divorce case in US should be stayed?
Should I reply to the notice he sent, writing about the green card matter and the pendency of maintainence and Divorce case in India?

Also please note:- He is right now not a US citizen but will 3 months he will become eligible for US citizenship.
Can I write to US Immigration authority and Indian Embassy about him illegally withholding the Greencard?

reply to notice poining out that divorce has been dismissed by family court in india . appeal is pending in india . that you are willing to stay with him as his wife . request him to forward green card which he has in his poseesion . f you cna fford fight the case in US courts too

Thankyou for the reply.HE returned the Green card after the court order after 3 years and by then the Green card expired, so I do not have visa to go to the US to fight the case. Should I complain about this to the Immigration authority of the US and also to the court?

You have every right to make complaint to the US authorities so that a stringent action may be initiated against him and you may get further visa on that ground.
