Deputation & repatriation

I had been posted on Deputation from my Parent company to Borrowing company on 26-10-2010 for a period of 2years. I had shifted my family and house from Mumbai to Chennai for joining in the deputation post.

My deputation period completed on 25-10-2012. But till date No orders for either Extension of my deputation or my repatriation have been issued. And i am still working in my borrowing organisation in chennai.

What if all of a sudden they ask me to repatriate back to mumbai??? shifting suddenly to another City will be difficult. in this case can i ask for sometime?? if yes, are there any rules for my case??? pls inform me about them.. thanks.

Yours is not a legal problem. It seems, instead of pursuing your case with your own company or borrowing company, you preferred to ask the community members of Lawyers Club India, who are neither aware about the rules of your company, nor those of the borrowing company, and nor you have also thought proper to speak anything about any of those companies.

Inaction on your own part to remind your company won't provide you any solution, if the management has forgotten to take due action in time on your deputation case. Better start correspondeence with your own organisations at your level to ask for your fate instead of keeping silent altogether. You are advised to come to this forum only if the management creates any problem in your case. Also keep yourself ready for repatriation any time when company awakes from its slumber on reminding.
