Personal loan related

Hi,

My brother was serving in a paramilitary (SSB), he got expired 2 years back. He had personal loan from SBI bank Patna. Now After his death my father has become guardian of children. My father has SBI account in Gorakhpur.
SBI bank has seized my father's account by saying that your son had a loan so your account is seized.

I don't know how come my father's account can be seized when he was not aware of that his son had a loan before he died and my father was not a guranter.

Please suggest me what should my father do, we are planning to file a case against bank in Consumer Forum.

It is high handedness of the SBI for which it does not have any authority,you should proceed with the action proposed against SBI.
