You have not mentioned whether the lady is illiterate and used her thumb impression only? Only right hand thumb impression has to be used by the illiterate ladies for execution of documents.

Now days photo IDs are being insisted at many offices even for literates who are affixing their signatures. Many States have issued instructions in this behalf.
