Power of attorney

My mother has an ancesteral property in Kerala. It is now decided for partition amongst her family. We are three daughters for our mother and we have been asked to Sign Power of Attorney so that the partition can be done. At present we are in Bangalore and We the daughters are unable to go to Kerala, what is the procedure in this. How much and where the stamp paper has to be purchased and what is the procedure.

You can get executed your POA at Banglore itself by purchasing the stamp paper from your place and need not go to Keral for the purpose of registration of GPA.

execute your POA at Bangalore,no need to go Kerala.

It is true, that POA can be executed in Bangalore. But, for a partition deed whether POA is allowed. I dont have similar case.
