Rules for elections for federation of ch societies

Respected Gentlemen,

I stay in Golden Park - phase I of Kalyan. Phase I comprises of eight different coop hsg societies. To manage common properties of our complex like club house, garden, security etc., we have formed a federation. All eight societies are members of this federation not individual flat owners. Each Society collects maintenance charges for federation from their members and pays to federation.

Now election to this federation have to be conducted. Are there separate rules for conducting elections for such a federation under coop. societies act?

If rules are available can anybody advise a link from where I can download the rules from the web. Or any similar institution rules can be followed (If yes which institution)?

There are no such rules available under Cooperative societies Act but those can be got framed on the lines of societies bye-laws with the help of an experienced lawyer. It shall be better to first get registered your federation so that it may take a legal shape and its separate entity may be got established in the eyes of members as well as Govt/
