Querist : Anonymous (Querist) 19 August 2011 This query is : Resolved
my friend's father who has been working as an driver with an business man for more than 18 years was removed from the service without any compensation.

is there any way by which compensation for the service can be received.

what ar the procedure and can anyone tell what is the court fees for sending the notice to the employer

he is having the certificate issued by the employer stating that the said man was working for so and so date , will it be enough to prove the period of service for compensation

Unfortunately in the private sector more so in a proprietary concern the employee does not enjoy much rights except where due to sheet number of workers the business concern makes provision for Provident Fund or other benefits.
So in this case I do not think much merit if he go for enforcing his 'compensation' through the court of law.

He is eligible for one month salary as compensation.

File a complaint before the Labour commissioner.
