respected sir,
i am currently unemployed,wife has filled dv case for maintenance,
on the date of interim maintenance arguement i have presented my condition.

i myself is presenting my case as a layman.

in absence of my income can magistrate pass her interim maintenance.

may i know the steps of process in dv case for my preparation and proper presentation in court.

it will help me a lot as i am unaware about the system and presenting my own case as a layman.

You shall have to buy a copy of bare act of DV Act. Since you are an able bodied man, you have to maintain your wife.

Yes maintenace can be granted your wife in absence of income proof.
You are advised hereby to hire the services of your local lawyer to represent your case perfectly. If you don't have means to pay lawyer fee, contact with free legal services of your area.
