usually your evidence will be in the form of an affidavit.the judge will receive it and pass orders. he may not ask you any questions.

In Exparte Evidecne Recording there will not be any otherside advocate to cross examine you . How ever the Judge may ask few question for clariifcations and reply properly and try to prove your allegations made in the Petition to the satisfaction of the judge .There may not be any qustions to you by the judge , judge may hear from your advocate.

I do agree with Mr. Rao.

The evidence will be in the form of affidavit. The judge for the purpose of satisfaction may ask for more proof but is not supposed to cross examine you though he can.

Hello Sir, thanks all for the good advice. I have some anxiety, although it may not be justified. The judge in Bangalore is supportive and my case is proceeding quite fast (8 months over) and smoothly. Till now my wife or her family haven't responded harmfully to our legal notice or court notice but they are aware of legal process and also they are in touch with neighbors . My question is can they file a DV or Maintenance complaint after a ex-parte decree is passed ?
