Builder floor apartment selling rights

In a builder floor apartment consisting of G+3. We own ground and first, can we only sell these two portions we own.. The 2nd and 3rd floor have other owners in fact my siblings, can the other 2 top floors put a case against me selling my 2 portions ... Or the building has to be sold as a whole and the land value divided amongst the owners..

You can sell property which is in your name, others can not object.

If you own GF and st floor and have clear ownership documents then you can sell.

Thanks. Actually my 2 sisters are objecting regarding me selling my 2 portions �.e ground and first, as their property value will come down(they own the second and third floor respectively) ...so they are telling the will put a stay order is it possible?? All the documents are clear ...

if STILL IN DOUBT YOU BETTER TAKE THE FOLLOWING STEPS TO AVOID FUTURE DISPUTES REGARDING 2ND AND 3RD FLOOR'S OWNERS//YOUR SIBLINGS AND YOU.


1) it is advisable to take property search for last 30 years

2) obtain certified copy of title deeds of property , partition deed among family members

3) if deed of partition has been done among family members it is binding upon all the members
I'm OF THE OPINION THAT WITHOUT TAKING ALL THE ABOVE STEPS IF YOU ENJOY ABSOLUTE OWNERSHIP OF GROUND+ 1ST FLOOR YOU CAN TRANSFER THE PROPERTY BY WAY OF SALE AS ABSOLUTE TITLEHOLDERS OF THE PROPERTY. ONLY TO BE ON SAFE SIDE AND BY WAY OF ABUNDANT CAUTION I SUGGESTED THE ABOVE STEPS.

The problem is that. We want to sell our portion and they are telling to sell the whole bldg and divide the funds . The remuneration we are getting by just selling our portion G+1 is far more higher than what we would get if the whole bldg is sold and then the amount shared... How do I go about it
