In hearing of my RTI appeal the presiding officer wants - whether I should be present or get a representation through an advocate. Is there a third option?

Dear Mr Y Singh N Rajjput being aware of your experience and knowledge myself would suggest your good self could Do it Your Self. Still you could seek some guidance of good friendly Advocate of your Place for any doubts.

If at all you are not in a position to attend you could appoint an Advocate preferably an Advocate who practices in the Concerned Court Campus

I am Vadodara based - it is difficult to attend. I would like to some advocate from Lucknow. I would like to discuss his fee etc..

Any Party in Person Case could be Represented by an Advocate after filing an Vakhalat please.

Appoint an advocate from Lucknow if you are unable to attend proceeding and keen to watch/participate. Search google or make some alternate approach.
How does appeal submitted to Appellate authority in Lucknow whereas you are from Vadodra?
What is the issue involved in your RTI Appeal?

Generally When No Representation is made by the Plaintiff Side there are more chances the Cases / Appeals would be Dismissed
