Can wife taking divorce ask for maintenace?

Hindu wife did not want to have a relationship with husband and wanted the divorce on the ground of irretrievable breakdown of the marriage. The court granted it. Now wife asking for maintenance from the husband. Is the wife taking divorce entitled for maintenance?

He/she can guide you further on factors that can play a role now.

Dear experts,
Husband has not given divorce, the wife has taken divorce; she deserted husband without reasonable ground and marriage irretrievably broken down. Can the wife get a benefit of her own wrong? S.125 is not applicable.(?)

The circumstances and the terms on which the divorce was granted is decisive while deciding the matter.

If the marriage is solemnised legally then the wife is entitled to maintenance, the quantum may be fixed by the Court.
