We have given a contract for building our house to a contractor.
As per the contract we were supposed to pay in advance based on the progress of work.
After 2 months we have paid him 5 lac. The quality of work was very poor and we informed him multiple times regarding this. He didn't improve the work quality even after that.
Ultimately we asked him to stop the work. He also delayed our construction.
Initially, the contractor is said that he will not leave the site. He was threatening that he will send us legal notice and will get the construction delayed even further.
We have to pay EMIs for the loan we have taken for construction. We are already facing losses.
Now, the contractor has sent us a bill of 6 lac and asking us to give him more money only then he would leave the site. We have asked the registered valuer to do the valuation of his work. The registered valuer told us that the cost of his work is only 3 lac.
Accordingly, he has taken 2 lac extra from us. And now asking 1 lac more to leave the site.
Kindly help how to get the money back and get rid of this contractor.

Sir/Madam,
I have passed out LL.B. exam in 2008 and Company Secretary Exam in 2010. Since 2010, I am in possession of membership of Institute of Company secretaries of India and working in legal department of a Company where my DIR-12 has not been filed. Now, due to some reasons, I want to enroll me as an Advocate. Please guide me and suggest me the whole procedure which I need to Follow.

My mother expired without a will
We are four legal heirs
Three legal heirs make a release deed , claiming they are the only three surviving legal heirs.
1st the btothers released the property to my father,
Then father gifted the properties to one of my brothers.
When i came to know about it , i served both the societies legal notice . The societies confirmed there is a family dispute and they will maintain a status quo till we all lagal heirs dont get a coury order . The brother approched the Deputy Registrar of cooperative , he did not call me for any hearing and also was not ready to listen to the submiitions given by the societies and has instructed them to transfer the flats in the name of my brother who has received it as gift. We all know the reason behind the said order, they think them selves to be demi gods, and for dakshina give there so called prasad to any one who approaches them having least respect for justice .
Please advice for wrong doings for Deputy Registrar, and for his benefit ,I a common person is being made to suffer.
Please advice if any straightforward method is there,
Why are the courts not taking a strong stand against these demi gods , who are actually not only giving and getting financial gains but also spoiling the relationships in the Society.

Dear Concern,
Due to covid our business is not reaching the break even. Its be 8 months now & we have exhausted all our savings & loan amount taken from bank. Also we are not able to pay rent to the landlord & requested them to adjust the rent amount from the security deposit, to which the landlord is not agreeing. Need help as what can be done here. Our agreement has a lock in period of 11months, which will end in the month of November-2021.
Please Help.

my father expire in 2002 I was in 2nd yr of graduation
I got job first in 2005 and later completed graduation 2007
my mother did supported me but very less amount and bought own home for her
I did my pg from own money
she did not helped my finding bride and when I found told her to put 498 on me
even put claim on my flat
now she is living on pension
I want to claim on pension part
note: I have done bsc comp sci but many relative done msc comp
what are legal provosions for same

There is a shop next to me , who has a restaurant of non veg items due to which a lot of smoke rises he has no licence for that restaurant, that person also allow everyone drinking wine at that shop and in lieu of that he charge money and he does not even have the licence for that , people make a lot of noise there after drinking alochol and give abuses to each other
Whenever we speak about this matter to him he says i have very good setting in police i give monthly no one can do anything against me it would be better for you to leave your place
Sir please advise us what should we do in this situation

I am a super senior citizen, own a shop which has entrance through a common passage leading "only" to my shop.
Same is reflected in my deed of conveyance. (W) Entrance, (E) shop and wall on both sides (N & S).
Recently in my absence, my neighbour has made a door opening to that common passage from the wall on South side. His objective is to encroach the common passage leading to my shop.
I approached the local ps and (being influenced) they said that it is civil matter, you go to court.
Isn't such matter a criminal offence? What are the remedies to such illegal acts?

A cognizable offence is the one for which a police officer has discretionary power to arrest a person without warrant, under Section 2 (c) of CrPC.
The Section 41 CrPC is the provision that enables a police officer to arrest an accused without a warrant.
The Section 41 a, CrPC deals with arrest when the offence is committed in the presence of the police office.
Section 41 b, CrPC speaks of arrest relating to a cognizable offence punishable with less than 7 years or up to 7 years.
In this scenario, my query is which is the basic enabling section in CrPC which deals with the arrest of a person (without a warrant) accused of a cognisable offence having more than 7 years of imprisonment?

Suspended from duty
I am working in a branded call centre in pune, I had complained about Manger and TL harrasment and threatening me of kicking me out of the company for no reason, I have even recorded their voice time to time. They forceably suspended for no valid reason without any prior notice on 18 August 2021. The same day all my access to company was blocked. They send me a Xerox copy of the charge sheet on my personal email, the next day they sent me a courier and seed post also, but that was also Xerox copy not original. I sent them letter stating to send me original charge sheet, but they are pretending to o do so. They didn't even issue me a show cause notice, but they have already made one and kept post dated, they have illegally suspended me from employment. I am a poor person, I am the only earning member in my family, we all were home corintine but still I didn't take leave, I was working for the company. Please help me and guide me.
