"The accused in a cheque case has been listed under the Long Pending Register (LPR) for failing to appear in court for 20 years. If the accused appears in court now, will they get bail on the same day, or will they have to spend at least one day in custody? Is it possible to obtain a bail order beforehand to avoid this? Alternatively, can this warrant be recalled? Also, at the time this case was initiated, it was filed using an address where the accused was not residing at that time. Can a quash petition be filed on this ground?"
