Deposting Cheque criteria

I am from pune.hired place in Mumbai. Cheque given to Mumbai landlord.he deposits cheque in pune instead of Mumbai. But files cheque bounce file in Mumbai. Whether Case maintainable on grounds of jurisdiction as cheque bounce action arises in Pune?

Jurisdiction lies at Pune where it was lodged for collection of its amount.Mumbai Court has no jurisdiction to try the case.

In mumbai there are large no of cheque cases so court can give hardly few minutes per case and there after dates are for three to four months.

If the account of the complainant is multy city he can deposit the cheque any where at his pleasure.

There is recent Guj High court judgment allowing such deposit and filing complaint.
