Sir,
I was on the way from my office, one car
jumped the red light and hit my vehicle (Motorcycle) hence my left leg's two bones broken on 10.02.2009. I lodged the FIR in Sector - 24, Noida. The driver arrested and car was also taken into police station.
I had filed a case at District Court Greater Noida in august, 2009 through an Advocate in Noida.
My query is : I have been called by my advocate in the Court only at the time of filing. Approximately one year is approaching, however when ever I asked to my advocate he is saying hearing is going on. But not ready to give the exact feed back of my case.
Why the court is not called me or my witness even after 11 months completed from the date of filing the case.
How much time will take to final this case.
Please help me.

At first you should have faith on your advocate. I think you would have filed Motor accident claim petition. You can check court's cause list for the same purpose.

Your Advocate has to follow your instructions and its his/her duty to keep you posted about development of your case or in the alternate you may make arrangement of inspecting the record by which all your doubts will be clear.

your advocate should necessary feed back on the day to day development of the case and it is the part of his service for which you are paying.
so please visit the concerned MACT court and enquire the facts and if you are not satisfied change the advocate.

AFTER U FILING THE CASE THERE WILL BE LOT OF PROCEDURE FOR COMING TO EXAMINATION OF WITNESS
THE OTHERSIDE APPERANCE HAS TO BE CARIED OUT
THEY HAS TO FILE THEIR OBJECTIONS WITH IN 90 DAYS ALL THSES WILL TAKE TIME
THESE THING WILL NOT AWARE OF AN LAY MAN
SO PLZ FOLLOW UP YOUR ADVOCATE REGULARLY
AASK HIM THE DATE OF ADJOURNMENT AND COURT NAME AND CSE UMBER
U GO AND CHECK IN COURT DAIRY
IF U WONT SATISFY YOUR ADVOCATES PROGRESS CHANGE HIM BY PAYING THE ADVOCATES FEE AND ENGAGE ANOTHER ONE

Thanks for your reply. My next hearing is on 15th july, 2010. This time I want to visit court.
Please advice Can I get the copy of the counter reply filed by the Opposition party (National Insurance Company) from the Court. What can i do for this.
