me, my brother , mother , brother in law res. in undevided family. we earn and spent all exp. jointly. we save money and then take property in the name of brother, mother because brother is main male mambers of our family, and mother is oldest member of our family.

what is my right in this property?

HUF property is traditionally ancestral property being passed down the generations from father to sons/daughters and grandchildren. HUF comes into existence only upon complete partition. The type of transaction you are suggesting in your query is not HUF but a joint family property.

YOU MAY KINDLY GET YOUR NAME ADDED ON THE PROPERTY RECORDS .AS PER LATEST AMMENDMENTS EVEN DAUGHTERS HAVE LEGAL RIGHT IN THE JOINT FAMILY PROPERTY.AS PER COURT EXPERIENCE TO AVOID FUTURE DISPUTES IT IS BETTER TO GET NAMES OF ALL HEIRS ON THE JOINT FAMILY PROPERTY.BY SUBMITING SIMPLE APPLICATION TO ADD NAMES OF ALL HEIRS ON THE PROPERTY RECORDS OF SAID JOINT FAMILY PROPERTY AND DULY SIGNED BY ALL HEIRS,YOUR NAMES WILL BE ADDED ON THE PROPERTY RECORDS AT CITY SURVEY/TALATHI/COLLECTORS OFFICE PLEASE NOTE

Your brother being the Kartha of the family is liable for the welfare of the members of the family

How could you prove that the assets belong to you as well when your name does not appear in the document of title ?
How would your earnings be proved to havbe been contributed in the savings for the acquired property ?
So long as the intentions are fair, you may get your name included as a joint owner of the property ?
Who is the brother-in-law ?
