Hi
I� m a novice to this profession. Can you guide me regarding the issue which I mentioned below,
In cheque case the accused has been absconded, the petitioner didn�t know the address of the accused. After few appearances the accused has been absconded to an unknown place.How we can compel his appearance?

concerned Court would certainly issue Non Bailable Warrant to the accused for non appearance . Whether the accused is attending or not you be present in the court for every hearing and record your presence/ after two or three hearings if the accused is not present request the court for permission to publish news paper advt regarding accused wanted by police.. Discuss with your advocate

What is your locus standie to the query ?
If the accused is not attending proceeding of the Court, the Court shall issue process u/s 82 followed by 83 Cr PC to compel his/her attendance.
