The Hon. Secretary of our Co-op Society has resigned from the post (not from committee).
Can the new Secretary be selected from the exiting members of the Managing Committee? Any procedure to be followed or internally it can be managed?

What are clauses/rules of your society. Your society bylaws needed to be verified. Generally Honorary members shall not be elected and they will be nominated by the Managing Committee.
