Divorse

Hi Experts
I got married in 2014 , im from belgaum and my husband is from goa , after 15 days of marriage he started harrasing and also cheated me. Now he filled a case in goa for annullment of marriage and i filled case in belgaum for divorse . Im not demanding anything from him but too he is not ready for divorse . I dont want to go for annullment i want divorse. Please help what i should do now

If amicable settlement is not possible then both parties can litigate as per their choice.

Court shall decide on merits.

Both want separation, Mutual Consent divorce would be better.

If he does not agree, approach Apex Court to transfer case filed by him at your place.

Consult a local lawyer for appreciation of facts and applicability of law on the issues viz; annulment and divorce since both the subjects are different.
You did not mention the faith (religion) professed by both of you, under which religion (personal law) you got married?

Annulment of marriage at this stage is not possible.
You may concentrate on divorce case filed by you.
