Religious Dress permissible

Hi,
I am currently working in a pvt company from last 7 months and I am a practicing Muslim and usually I am wearing islami dress (turban (saafa) and khandress, thobe) and from last 7 months on every Friday continuously I m wearing turban and in rest of days I m wearing Islamic cap (topi).. Now I m warned for the same and forced to be in a formal dress as there is no one is follows such like things ... I want to know is any law against the same so which can help me....

Your query is vague.

You have not mentioned what is your job and what is the dress code.

If the employer has prescribed any uniform for the staff then they are justified in putting you off duty without the same.

If you are working for some private company and not with any specific government organization where dress code is specified.. then No law governs your issue.

What type of firm/organisation is that where you are serving?
How many employees are there in the company/ firm where you are working?
Whether the company/firm has prescribed any formal dress code for use during working hours?
What do you want to achieve/gain/ communicate by wearing muslim/islami dress when no other employee use any such dress and objection has been raised by employer?
I wish to close this unnecessary thread for further opinion.
Consult a local lawyer if you are dissatisfied or want to have further guidance or proceedings as I do not find any new idea/concept to submit or advise.

Does your religion allow doing job in some company, but prohibit to weer any dress other than you wear while in office?

If not, what is the harm, if you follow the saying, "while in Rome, do as Romans do?"
