False documents.

Previous landlord sold his Mumbai based property's land-lordship in the year 2015 to this new landlord which previous landlord had purchased in year 2007 and never visited to this building. due to his ignorance towards building all the tenants made propose society to pay taxes and other outgoings which was never registered or not even approach to any government body to register.

Now this new landlord has submitted receipt of his title for year 1999 in deed of conveyance which he has purchased in year 2015.

i am residing in this building since 2008 and i have all the documentary proof.

but my flat is in litigation due to previous tenant turn dishonest.

my terms is not good with this new landlord and he also resides in same building.

he had not incorporated my name any where even as occupier.

Seniors please advise me what action and precaution i should take in this matter.

Madam,
[1] The tenants do not have any legal right to form and register a housing society as they do not own the property but have only tenancy rights. The whole exercise is useless.
[2] You can prove your tenancy and residence for your flat by tangible proof only.
[3] You should have a valid rent receipt, in your name or in the name of any of your family members, from the landlord of having paid the rent.
[4] You have to collect all valid evidences of your continuous stay at the premises.
[5] Please inform the cause of litigation with the previous tenant, this may or may not help you to prove your tenancy.
