I contacted school they told me gok issued an circular dt02/05/2000 according to that u need to get a court decree for change of name no affidavit and publishing in newspapers will be valid process hence I need clarification from Bangalores concerned advocate

three steps are the for change of name. Notarized affidavit mentioning the reasons of change of name. Publication along with affidavit in two local news papers. Publication in Official gazette.
