Sale of agriculture land

Our family property of 5 acre agri land. Our doc titled as agri land but in sale doc word ' agriculture land ' was not mentioned by the buyer in his doc. My query's that sale of our land come under capital gain tax ?

Sale deed when you bought or when you sold!

Is title 'agri land' in both!

it does not make any difference that how did you describe the land in your purchase document or in sale document.

The crux is what actually the land was, and the same will prevail.

The description or classification of land is not governed by your document but it is governed by statute.
