You submit it in court of law. To decide it false or true is depend up on fact of case.

How the death of your father is relevant maintenance case unless it is shown that you have inherited his properties worth of crores.

Give background of case / discuss with your lawyer.

Mr. Bullseye, whosoever you are as a synonimous person,

Suggestions are given only when facts with background of the case are given, not for academic query.

Even your present question is quite vague. Affidevit or no affidavit, death certificate of father or not, you own property or not, you cannot escape the liability for interim or final maintenance. All that depends solely on the decision of the judge on merits of the case.
Shonee Kapoor (Expert) 04 August 2016
Why would you submit such a certificate in maintennace proceedings?

Rightly said by experts, unless background is known no advise is possible,

@ Bullseye,

Despite the fact you have smarted and adopted name of Bulls eye, which is not your real name accordingly you are "anonymous" author of this query and the experts should have opted to return without any advise. Even then, you have adequately been advised.

What is the relevancy of death certificate of your father in a case for maintenance? You have no option but to pay as directed by the court, I fully agree with experts.

Show complete paper book of your case to a local prudent lawyer for proper appreciation of facts and circumstances, guidance and proceedings.
