i am living together without marriage with one of my relative.what are the sections can attract for my wife to file a case?what are the punishments?

REGARDING THE LIVING WITHOUT MARRIAGE AND COMPLAINT BY WIFE KINDLY NOTE THAT.

1.YOUR WIFE CAN FILE A COMPLAINT UNDER SEC.494 OF INDIAN PENAL CODE AND PUNISHMENT WILL BE SEVEN YEARS APPROX.
OF COURSE SHE HAS TO PROVE THE SAME BUT SHE CAN DEFINETELY PUT YOU AND YOUR JOB IN TO PROBLEM.HENCE IT IS ADVISIBLE TO KINDLY DO NOT INVITE TROUBLE AND RECTIFY THE MISTAKE IN YOUR OWN INTEREST.
2.YOUR WIFE MAY ALSO FILE A CRIMINAL COMPLAINT UNDER SECTION 12 AND OTHER PROVISIONS OF DOMESTIC VIOLENCE ACT AND CAN SEEK MAINTAINENCE ,SHARE IN MATRIMONIAL HOME AND ALSO CRIMINAL CASE UNDER SECTION 494 OF I.P.C. AND OTHER PROVISIONS OF SAID ACT.
HENCE IN YOUR OWN INTEREST AND ALSO IN THE INTEREST OF YOUR WIFE AND FAMILY KINDLY CONTROL YOURSELF AND STOP FURTHER DAMAGE OR ELSE YOU WILL HAVE TO FACE MULTIPLE LITIGATION PLEASE NOTE.

If you are not married, then no action will be taken against you. Live in relationship is now accepted. If you are married and separated for more than 2 years and divorce case is pending in the court, then also the chances of getting punished is very less. Otherwise you can be charged with adultery.
