sir,
there was a falsified police case(criminal) was registered on my younger brother on september 2009 under the sections of ipc 307,324,340. at that time he was civil service aspirant even attended upsc civil service interview on may 2009(he did not get service). He fought in local court and finally got aquitted on july 2014.
now is he eligible to join if he gets selected?
some people says that his career is over now.he is on the verge of dilemma.

i explain now, i was a ias aspirant once upon a time,after exhausting my attempts i encouraged my brother(cousin) to prepare upsc examinations.
He went to upsc interview,unfortunately he was not qualified, and subsequent incidences as i posted .He also exhusted attempts but upsc has given two extra attempts.now he is worrying about the criminal case history though he was acquitted. That is why i posted the query.Nothing to hide sir

Acquitted should be exonerated honourbly, not acquitted on doubt.
