Broke bond of one year

(Querist) 25 August 2015 This query is : Resolved
Dear Team

I was working with one company, they signed me a bond of 75000/- if I leave company before one year and also take a blank cheque for the same. But because that company's system and work I don't like I left that job.Now they filled a case against me is 138 of cheque bounce.

I want to ask how can I get rid of this problem.
Please suggest me appropriate.

Thanks and Regards
Anand

Depends upon the contents/language of the bond and the acknowledgement of the company for what purpose the blank cheque was taken. These aspects are required to be examined in detail to suggest you the way out of the problem.

The company, instead of claiming as per Bond preferred to file cheque bounce case. You have to discuss all aspect with your lawyer and defend yourself after taking bail from court.

What was the ground for creating bond?

Was any receipt of cheque issued to you?

Meet your lawyer ASAP and defend yourself and your interest.

Are you a member of any employee's/Trade Unions?

Next time consult elders in the family, union leaders, and your lawyer before signing on the dotted line.

as of your given fact, there is no consideration for the alleged cheque. there is no legally enforceable debt between yours..

so just defend the case..
