Bail and recognisance

Respected Ld. Members:

The accused who is in custody is having difficulty in arranging a surety, as he is from a different state. He is behind bars for 45 days' now, on charges of theft and criminal intimidation. Will the Court hearing the bail application allow him bail on his personal bond?

The court will not decide to enlarge him in bail without proper solvency, better arrange for solvency otherwise he may have toil in jail itself.

If the accused is a celebrity or high profile person and man of means to engage costly counsel he can get bail on personal bond in Indian Courts.
