Money recovery without pro note

Sirs,

I have given to my brother Rs. 5,00000/- (five lakh) by cash for his family expenses and land miscellaneous works in 2010. He accepted the amount and gave me a written paper (signed) for Rs.5,00000/- in 2012. I have asked him several time to return or provide pro note for this amount. But he does not response my request. Can I make a case oppose him?

you can file money suit, first send notice after that you file money suit. within 3yrs you should file a case.

Limitation for claiming the money will expire soon.
File a suit for recovery of money asap.

You can file suit of recovery in years before the limitation of three years expires.
