Divorce property law in india

My sister is an 32 years age women with her to children and her husband always threatened her that he will give her divorce and he always use to tell her that he transfer his property to his brother before giving her divorce please anybody advice me in this matter.

What does your sister want actually?
Fr mere threat she may ignore this unless she is subjected to physical and mental tortures for which specific remedy is there.

In case of physical or mental torture, legal action can be taken. Once such steps taken, marriage would be at stake. Try to avoid and have amicable solution at present if no torture.

your sister can file DV case against her husband . seek right to stay in matrimonial home or alternative accommodation . she can obtain injunction restraining husband from disposing of property standing in his name
