My ex gf is blackmailing me, she is demanding Rs 1 L or she will file a rape case against me .
we had like 5yrs relationship, but after a huge fight we broke up this november, suddenly she called me yesterday now i am in police station i say why she give her ph to police si police si told why u black mail this call do u know which type of problem face i say sorry, then she return to police station after 30min she call me and say she wants Rs 1 L or else she will file a rape case against me (some pretext of marriage or something like that she said), it this even possible ?
I don't know much about law but i am really afraid of police cases and all. I am a middle class family boy and i cannot arrange so much money , please give me advice, I haven't said to my parents anything , and if police comes to our house it will be a big issue. she given me 1 week to arrange the money and send me , please help me wat to do.

You rather file complaint of criminal intimidation and blackmail against the girl.

Consult some Respectable Persons of your Place and sort out the Issue amicably and Legally with the help of good local advocates Immediately.Any misguidance to her by any one might ruin your life.

Record all her blackmailing calls. You can try for amicable solution with the help of elders. If you have been physical in your relation, you can be in trouble. In case of amicable understanding, take help of some lawyer to draft terms.

2. Lodge a police complaint against her such blackmailing you for money,
3. Never ever admit anywhere that you have had physical relationship with her,
4. Do not pay her any amount,
5. She won't be able to do anything.

5 years of relationship can not be denied so easily.Physical Relationship if it was there can not denied so easily.A good Legal Support to her can make you Reap the Consequences.What promises you have made to her in 5 years to be taken in to a/c.Just a Police Complaint and denial of the acts can not let you free so easily in Practical.

You say that you belong to a middle class family but you have reported to have maintained relationship with her for 5 years without marrying her (?), now when she is turning sour you want to break the relationship and look for another female either in relationship or marriage, right? but you cannot afford her demand (?), it is better to settle the issues with her amicably by some elders witnessing the settlement or else she may file DV case, rape case, cheating case and she will discover more ideas to torture and avenge you, think.
