What are the Laws regarding illegally occupying the public roads/passages for personal/private functions ?

Had some guidelines/instructions/orders issued by the Supreme court of India for the same ?

There is provision in section 133 and 145 CrPC regarding illlegaly occupying and obstructing and any dispute arising due to public path,road,water etc.You can lodge complaint in concerned Polica station or before the concerned SDM.

Besides police/SDM complaint you can move to Civil Judge/court u/s 91 CPC.
