Gpa

(Querist) 04 August 2014 This query is : Resolved
dear experts,

I want to give a gpa to my father for my house with renting, using & selling rights as an opportunity of a very good job seems to finalise and I will have to stay away in england for nearly 5 yrs as per contract.. I have very less time to do arrangement here in india..

my father lives in another city and has been looking after the said property for many years. Is it possible for me to get a gpa registered in his favour without his prescence and then post/courier it to him. Will it be valid ????

Nothing to worry. Get a GPA executed and notarised from UK and send it by post to your father.
Advocate. Arunagiri (Expert) 05 August 2014
You can give GPA to your father, once you reach England, duly notarized by a England Notary. You can send it by post, after that your father has to adjudicate this GPA in the jurisdictional Registrar office.

better visit your father . preparation of GPA wont take more than a day . have it duly stamped and registered
Rajendra K Goyal (Expert) 05 August 2014
You can get the GPA prepared at your place or your father can get it prepared. Visit there, go to registrar office and get it registered. It is one day work.

yes, do it fast.
T. Kalaiselvan, Advocate (Expert) 06 August 2014
As advised, it is better to visit the place of your father, get the GPA drafted, pay the stamp duty and get it registered to avoid all the complications that may arise in the future in this regard.
