If lost c form found and fir is already lodged

Dear sir,
In case If lost C form found and FIR is already lodged with the police station. Infact the c forms are submitted to Sales tax dept for rectification and by mistake the same is mentioned as lost in FIR and given advt in local paper in that case what should be the seller action?

send letter to local police station that C form have been found . also issue clarification in newspaper in this regard

You may issue a clarification notice through the same newspaper while simultaneously informing the concerned police station about tracing out the C form so that they can dispose your previous complaint in this regard accordingly.

You may inform to the concern police station.

Police will drop the further proceeding regard your earlier complaint. It is called as ACTION DROP.
