I purchased agricultural land in 2008 after inspecting previous land owners chain and got registered and mutation on my name. In 2012, Tehsildar struck off my name from official records of land, without notifying me.
What can I do to claim damages or to get back that land on my name?
R.V.RAO (Expert) 17 May 2014
find out, if it is a mistaken action by tehsildar, and reasons for his action. if you do not get satisfactory reply, petition to district collector/magistrate with proof of your land ownership.
if it is a case of lad acquisition by govt. authorities, you get notice of acquisition and compensation and or alternative land. First, enquire into reasons of tehsildar's actions before any reaction from your side.

Thereafter Complain to tehsildar..

You have not given proper details that why Tahsildar cancelled the mutation records on your name without any notice or intimation to you. There should have been some proceedings subsequent to which the Tahsildar has taken the drastic step, come out with proper details.
