Without seeing FIR it is difficult to advise on merit of bail or trial of your case.

Nothing can be advised blind-folded in the absence of the facts of the case.

Send a reply notice seeking for time, to settle the remaining amount. and give a schedule of payment also.

By this you may show your good intention to settle the issue.

In the worst situation, if they file FIR, you can get anticipatory bail. take the help of the local advocate and be prepared.
V R SHROFF (Expert) 06 April 2014
YOU INTENTIONALLY EMBEZZLED Rs.20 lAKH, of your employer, THAT IS SHORT IN CASH BALANCE.
It is crime beyond 420, as you are paid servant of the Company who lost their 20 Lakhs.
Your act is punishable, and No anticipatory bail to you.
Even if you settle, you loose your job.. and STAMPED A DISHONEST AND A CHEAT.
Sorry, NO SYMPATHY FOR YOU.

Mr. Nikhil,

Your remarks against Shri V.R. Shroff are not only uncalled for but also spiteful.

If you have posted your query to seek some help from the experts through an open forum, if someone shows you correct picture of law on the face of your description, you were required to take some cue in its right spirit to enable you taking the most necessary precautions while defending your position, rather than criticising the expert.

So, Mr. Shroff has made you aware of the legal implication of the offence committed by you. He has not tried to mislead you by giving you false hope, as you might have expected from experts. Your paid lawyer may perhaps try to use some tricks to save you on technical grounds, but the experts over here providing charity consultation and having no vested or pecuniary interest, can't be expected to suggest you unethically any wrong method to defend your case.

So, wise thing on your part was to take the hint out of the legal implication discussed by Shri Shroff even to get yourself secured from the touts who would try to extract a big chunk of money from you by giving you false assurances. Now you would be free to discuss on such alarming situation with your hired lawyer to save you out of the problem and to avoid being trapped in to the net of touts.

So, it would be wise on your part apologise to Shri Shroff for your spiteful remarks against him. Otherwise, even on your genuine problems, nobody would like to help you in future.

PLEASE MIND IT, IF THIS FORUM IS FOR GUIDING, NONE OF THE EXPERTS HERE ARE PAID SERVANT OF ANY OF THE QUERIST AND DEFINITELY NOT COMPELLED TO HELP OFFENDERS.

I fully agree and standby on the views of learned expert Mr. Dhingra on the issue and he is right in demanding apologies from the author for his spiteful remarks against learned expert Mr. Shroff. Such things are not entertained especially in this portal wherein all the experts are taking maxmium efforts to very properly address and render best possible opinions to the needy and distressed people who seek legal advises here and as rightly mentioned by learned expert Mr. Dhingra, that the experts over here are providing charity consultation having no vested or pecuniary interest, hence they can't be expected to suggest anyone unethically or in any wrong method to defend their case. Hope the author understands and realizes his mistake (?)
