hello Sir.
i had applied for passport in june for which the process is still on going. today when i checked the status, it is displaying a show clause notice along with followng text.

Passport office may sent "show cause" notice to the applicant when any material facts suppressed by the applicant.You can submit show cause by a written application or meet passport office personally.No reply would be allowed through email.

Agree Police Verification is done only once in the process until some extraordinary circumstances exist.

I met the Passport officer today itself. However she says your documents are submitted by your local police but we haven't received them yet. Wait for few days. But when i check my status online they it mentions a show clause notice. I told her that. The officer told me to meet her after I receive the notice. I don't understand what's happening.

Yes i did that long ago. And the officer said that they have submitted all their reports long time ago.

The police report might have been lost in the transit or has been misplaced in the passport office or being withheld for some more clarifications. If you do not get proper reply from the police,approach the higher police officer in this regard and obtain the report to be transmitted to the passport officer.

Hello everyone...my passport application status says...
---Pre-verification Police has completed verification process on 04/04/2014. Your passport will be dispatched after 'Clear' Police Verification Report is received at Regional Passport Office. You would receive an e-mail/sms once the passport is dispatched.---
What does this mean now? Will i get my passport?
