Reduced Age Limit in DJS-2010

(Querist) 28 October 2009 This query is : Resolved
I have been preparing for DJS for past 2 years. But 2 days back I came to know that I am not eligible due to recent reduced age limit from 32 to 30. I feel that it is injustice as Authorities should have declared it at the time of the last notification itself. What remedy I have? PLease help me...
I am thinking of filing a PIL.
Raj Kumar Makkad (Expert) 28 October 2009
No remedy available with you as the notification is a policy matter which is generally not framed keeping in view the interest of an individual person. If you think it against natural justice then you will have to challenge it before High Court.

i agree with Mr. Makkad, its a matter of public policy....atleast i dont find any reasons to challenge the same.

how u feel it to be injustice?

apart from technical issues...nowadays the concept being followed is "catch them young"

i think you can understand.

now there is a proposal to reduce the minimum age for ADJ exam from 35 to 32...and it may happen very soon.

agree with Mr.Kiran

You can challenge the notification as unconstituitional under Writ Petition or if you are group of people under PIL.

Age limit at the time of inviting applications are considered. Even educational ualifications are extended.Simply to invite youngers cannot be said discriminatory.

well 32 is nt that old n if they had plans about they should have notified it earlier so that people dont get trapped unawares
