(Querist) 20 December 2013 This query is : Resolved
took advise of 2 lawyers one advised to create a new copy of WS and underline amended lines. Other recommended to modify same WS with red strike for deleting a content and sticking paper cheat for new additions.

Which method shall i follow? Thanks.

There is absolutely no need to highlight the amended portion in amended pleading. After amendment is allowed just file amended WS with additions without any highlight at all.

decretion of judge, he may / [most of the time, to know part of amendment] ask to underline, by red etc, ]
no hard and fast rules or CPC.
AFTER DRAFT, IF APPROVED, FILE AMENDED WS

Once an amendment is allowed in a pleading,be it plaint or a w.s.,the court fixes a time by which it should be carried out in the original plaint or w.s.,as the case may be.
Then party concerned is expected to carry out contents of amendments by red ink in the original pleading.

Some time court also direct to file a fresh copy of amended pleading after it has been carried out in the original.
Neither highlighter or sticking paper is desired nor can be used.
