Dv case maintenance amount

hello Sir/madam

My wife filled DV case against me and my parents 6 mnth back still argument going on i would like to know can court pass the order of maintenance from the date of petition or from the date on which it has been proved in the court that domestic violence took place.

The Ld Court may pass order of maintenance from the date of proof D V took place.

you have not mentioned the prayers in the complaint . your wife must have claimed maintenance from date of filing of complaint . in such a case court may award from date of filing of complaint under Dv
