Do grand son has right on grand father's self acquired property?

(Querist) 11 August 2013 This query is : Resolved 
When Grand father ((mother's father)died intestate.Do Grand son has any right on grand father's self acquired property, even when grandson's mother alive?

In one of the similar query .. Mr Prabhakar Singh said as below
"Q.Can a grandson claim right in his grandfather's self acquired property? How?

A.Only when they are from mitakshara school of Hindu law and grand son was born within life time of his grand father who died intestate."

Is it not same applies to my situation?

No, he does not have any rights.

After mother he can have right.

Only after death of grandfather, for the intestate properties, if there is no other class 1 heir, otherwise share of your mother.

There is no question of any share during the life time of his mother.
